Pesto with pasta is one of the best and healthiest ways to serve greens to kids. The whole meal is quick and easy to make and a great way to bring some variety to toddlers. This method makes the creamiest, dreamiest pesto sauce in just 5 minutes with only a handful of simple and nutrient dense ingredients!
๐๐ป๐ด๐ฟ๐ฒ๐ฑ๐ถ๐ฒ๐ป๐๐:
- 2 1/2 cups of fresh basil leaves
- 1 1/2 cup of fresh parsley
- 5 small garlic cloves minced
- 1/8 cup of lemon juice
- 1/2 cup of extra virgin olive oil
- 1/2 tsp of Celtic salt
- 2 tbs of nutritional yeast
- 3 tbs if water
- 1 cup of coconut cream ( no water just the cream)
๐ ๐ฒ๐๐ต๐ผ๐ฑ:
1. Combine all the ingredients except cream in a food processor. Process on high until smooth. If you find the sauce too thick, add a bit of extra olive oil
2. In a small frying pan, combine the pesto sauce and coconut cream. Gently simmer over low heat until ready to serve with gluten free penne or spaghetti.
